Experience on Firewalls like ASA/Checkpoint/Juniper
Experience VPN Configuration / Troubleshooting
Experience on Routing / Switching & its troubleshooting
Experience in Load Balancers. Radware & F5 load balancer preferred
Intermediate Troubleshooting of network related incidents (link outages, peer outages, router/switch/firewall hardware failures, multicast and broadcast issues, network performance issues).
Work and resolve incidents with proper technical update
Failover testing of the Network Equipments (Routers/Firewalls/ P2P/MPLS links)
Working knowledge of Application Firewall (WAF) is added advantage
Working knowledge of Cisco Nexus switch
Responsible for IPS configuration & management.
Responsible for management of the IP address database
Responsible for maintaining the Links database
Responsible for maintaining up to date asset inventory database.
Configuration Network device and Syslog, Tacacs systems.
Primary for conducting device configuration management.
Responsible for monitoring network link usage.
Working closely with other IT team and collaborating with other IT staff
Responsible for planning and implementing future IT developments and undertaking new network related roll out.
Participate in undertaking routine Preventative measures.
Strict adherence to customer policies and processes
Taking backups and maintaining the same
User movements and moving users from one to another VLANs.
Requirements -
3 to 4 yrs. of experience in technical network support role
Good troubleshooting experience on multiple networking platforms and technologies (Cisco, Checkpoint, Juniper, WAF etc.)
Good knowledge and troubleshooting experience on Ethernet, IP and networking protocols (eg. SNMP, DHCP, DNS, HSRP, Routing protocols like EIGRP, OSPF, BGP etc. and switching protocols like VLAN, Trunking, Dot1x, STP etc.)
Good knowledge on GRE, IPSEC VPNs, NAT/PAT
Good knowledge on network monitoring tools like PRTG, WhatsUP gold etc.
